Please note that this method applies to creating a new patient when the Portal is not integrated with your EMR.
1) In the Portal:
a)Click on the Patient Groups icon.
b)Then click on Options button.
c)Then click on New Patient/Caregiver.
2) Click on Patient button.
a)In Primary Patient Group, select the appropriate patient group.
b)Type in the email address if available. If the patient is a minor/dependent, please see article How to Connect Patient Accounts after completing Step 2C.
c)Click Save Changes to continue.
3) Fill in other demographic information if available.
a)Click on the Edit button on the Shared Secret field.
b)Type in a secret code that is negotiated with the patient so they can use to register to the Portal, and click the check mark to save.
